Terms of Use & End User License Agreement
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dogdell game, website, and related services (the “Service”). By entering the park or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
This is a practical starter agreement for Dogdell operators. Have counsel review it before relying on it in production, and replace bracketed contact details with your real entity.
1. The Service
Dogdell is a multiplayer browser game where players control dogs in a shared park. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time. We may run ads, offer optional paid items in the future, and host the Service on third-party infrastructure.
2. License (EULA)
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and play Dogdell for entertainment. You do not own the Service, game accounts, virtual items, currency, names, or progress — you receive a license to use them while we offer the Service, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, reverse engineer, or scrape the Service except as allowed by law
- Cheat, exploit bugs, automate play with bots, or attack our servers
- Sell, trade, or transfer accounts or virtual items outside officially supported means
- Interfere with other players’ enjoyment of the park
3. Accounts & guests
You may play as a guest or with an optional account (for example Google or email via Firebase). You are responsible for activity under your guest name or account. Keep credentials secure. We may reclaim unused names, remove abusive names, or suspend access.
4. Conduct & communication
Dogdell does not offer free-text player chat. Social signals are limited to allowlisted barks, emotes, and similar park actions (for example sniffing). Do not attempt to bypass these limits to harass, spam, or share personal information.
5. Virtual items & purchases
Any bones, credits, cosmetics, or similar items have no real-world cash value outside the Service unless we expressly say otherwise. If we offer paid currency or items, purchases are final except where required by law. We may modify, rebalance, or remove virtual items.
6. Ads & third parties
The Service may display advertising (for example Google AdSense) and use analytics or hosting providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.
7. Age
The Service is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age of digital consent in your region, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. Parents should supervise play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for accounts without appropriate consent; see the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uptime, saves, or that progress will never be lost. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the park.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may be noted in-game or on this page.
